In fact, over 75 percent of the real estate here is classified as such, which is more than is found in nearly 97 percent of other American neighborhoods.

Many things matter about a neighborhood, but the first thing most people notice is the way a neighborhood looks and its particular flair. For example, one might notice whether the buildings all date from a certain time period. This particular neighborhood in Honolulu, the Mccully-Moiliili area, has some outstanding things about the way it looks and its way of life that are worth highlighting. 

The neighborhood is very densely populated compared to most neighborhoods in America, with 32,353 persons per square mile and more packed with people than over 97 percent of the nation’s neighborhoods.

In the Mccully-Moiliili neighborhood, walking to work is a real option for many with over 13 percent of the residents here who walk to and from work daily. Also, more people take public transportation in this neighborhood each day to get to work than 95 percent of neighborhoods across the country.

With a nice mix of college students, and decent walkability, the Mccully-Moiliili neighborhood rates highly as a college student friendly place to live and one that college students and their parents may want to consider. The area rates high for a better place for college students to live than 87 percent of the neighborhoods in Hawaii with amenities and services geared towards college students, from undergraduates to graduate students.
