City of Refuge- Veterans taking care of Veterans- Capt. Keith Lambert
Capt. Keith Lambert had a vision, he knows first-hand what it is like to go through the pain facing many veterans, isolation, chronic pain, chronic depression and addiction, which is an after effect many times from trying to treat and just alleviate the pain. His father Capt. Donald “Red” Lambert served this country and in retirement was 100% disabled, a US Marine Corps Veteran. Dealing with the Veterans Administration was extremely frustrating and that is when he came up with the idea for The City of Refuge. He knew there was a better way to take care of the men and woman who served and still serve this country so proudly Capt.
